Sandy
Scheduling and Financial Treatment Coordinator
Sandy has lived on the central coast for 15 years, and loves our beautiful coast line. She has been working in the dental field for 14+ years. She originally started her dental career as a dental assistant, but found that she is a better fit for the front office by helping people with their treatment plans and their financial needs. Her number one focus is customer service, and taking care of our patients., by making them feel at home.
When she is not working she and her husband of 40 years love to go camping, and travel as much as possible. She is also a proud grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters Riley and Madison. She also adores her beautiful dog, Nalla.
Ariel
Scheduling and Financial Treatment Coordinator
Ariel was born and raised on the Central Coast. She loves creating art, being outdoors, traveling, and going to concerts. She has been a member of our office since August 2021 and has enjoyed working with her amazing team. Her main objective at work is to make sure every patient feels welcomed and receives the best care.
Victoria
Dental Assistant
Victoria has been a member of our office since September 2020. She moved to the Central Coast in 2012 from Springville, California. Victoria has been working in the customer service industry for over 8 years and is very much a people person. She strives to put a smile on everyone's face, and help patients feel welcome. She is passionate about getting to know all of our patients and making sure they receive quality service. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her loved ones and her German Shepherd Wrigley, and Great Dane Aero.
Tara
Registered Dental Assistant
Tara is the newest member in our office. She has lived in SLO county most of her life and loves the central coast. Tara has been in the dental field for 13 years and enjoys working as a Registered Dental Assistant. She is passionate about the dental field and learning about dentistry. In her time off Tara enjoys being outdoors with her children.
Kathleen
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kathi has been a hygienist at this office for more than 25 years, staying with Dr. Ratchford after she acquired the practice. She graduated top of her class at Pasadena College Dental Hygiene Program, where she was the recipient of the “California Hygiene Award of Clinical Excellence” for her graduating class. She and her husband Tom, have lived on the Central Coast for more than 35 years, where they raised their two wonderful daughters together.
Chelsea
Registered Dental Hygienist
Chelsea is originally from southeast Michigan where she attended undergrad and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in 2011. Following graduation she got married and moved around the U.S. with her husband before they decided to call California home. She completed the dental hygiene program in San Diego and loves being a hygienist. Seeing improvement and continuation of good hygiene practices in her patients is what drives her to excel. In 2022 Chelsea moved to San Luis Obispo with her husband, two young children, and two dogs. In her free time she likes to exercise at the gym, read a good book, or camp with her family.
Lori
Registered Dental Hygienist
Lori has been in the dental field for over 40 years. Being a dental hygienist is her passion. She loves providing the best care possible for our patients and she enjoys working with them and teaching them about better oral healthcare. When she's not working, she enjoys being outdoors, she loves to hike and garden.
Morgan
Dental Assistant
Morgan has lived in this county her whole life, moving to Morro Bay 3 years ago. She discovered her interest for dental in highschool during her own visits, and now has been working in the field since 2021.
Her main goal is to make patients feel comfortable during their dental visit, and exceed their expectations. On her off days, she likes to spend time surrounded by her friends, playing the ukulele or guitar, and traveling to visit family.
